Our vision is to expand our program creating a housing/work environment for several residents. Individuals would have their own living spaces with use of shared spaces such as a kitchen and dining room. Work would involve care of the rescue horses, Nigerian goats and related barn chores. Individuals would be matched to the work appropriate to their skill level, training and support would be available. There would be a resident manager who lives on premises and oversees the vocational training and running of the home. Taking care of barn chores related to the horses and goats would be a daily task of residents. Support for household needs (meals, laundry, cleaning, and/or transportation) may be available.
We are looking to hear from those who may be interested in this exciting housing and work opportunity whether you are a potential future resident, manager, or supporter. Potential residents must be able to conform to a uniform code of conduct.
We are actively fundraising towards this goal.
